Bobcat manufactured the 743 skid-steer loader from 1981 to 1990, and the Bobcat 743B from 1991 to 1994. Though it has now been discontinued, there are still a vast number of them out there doing a number of jobs! These machines dig, move building and landscaping materials, jackhammer cement, load trucks, and are used for grading. The 743 has been well known as reliable equipment, which is why there are still so many in operation.

Both the Bobcat 743 and 743B boast a 36 horsepower diesel engine, with a rated operating capacity of 1300 lbs.
