National Crane has been in business building cranes for numerous industries since 1945. Now part of the worldwide Manitowoc Crane Group, you can find National brand cranes from a variety of sources and with a number of different uses.





You may be searching for a National brand crane because it's a brand you've heard is durable. That's true--the company boasts that around 90 percent of the cranes they've sold over more than 40 years are still in operation. National specializes in boom trucks, and they currently make 13 models (in addition to the many past models that are still out there in use).

National cranes are used in operations such as rigging, utility work, tree removal, electrical work, sign installation and repair, roofing, and construction. National also offers a complete line of cranes for marine use. They manufacture telescoping cranes (with stand-up controls as well as enclosed swing seat cranes) and articulating cranes.

Though National started as a family business, it is now part of the global Manitowoc Crane Group. It keeps the brand name National out there, just as it has separate manufacturing facilities for National cranes.
